Our stone bowls are made with 100% natural figure stone by hand.
The figure stone "agalmatolite" from Korea is very limited in the reserved amount.
The stone is well known for their high retention of heat.
They are heated very fast and cool down really slow.
This means that your food will stay hot and delicious for long time.
(Minor "cracks" are only cosmetically damaged. The stone bowl itself is not defected.)

Before the first usage, it is recommended to heat the stone bowl with salty water (1/3 full), until water boils.
Then remove the bowl from the direct heat and paint the surface with sesame oil or any other edible oil until oil is no longer permeated. This is to eliminate any cracks and/or breakage due to minor damages to the item.

Please DO NOT put hot stone bowl into cold water. This may permanently damage the stone bowl.
This heating and storing method will ensure lasting usage of our stone bowls.
