Description: Japanese pickled burdock "Nishiya Yamagobo"

Ingredient: burdock, water, monosodium glutamate, soy sauce, citric acid, artificial flavor, sorbic acid

Dyers grape in sauce (soy sauce, 50g). This high fibre root which can grow up to 1 metre in length is commonly used in Sushi. For making Sushi, lay a piece of Nori down flat and cover approx finger deep (1.5cm) with Japanese rice, place a length of Yamagobo on the top and roll the rice over using the Nori as support, then cut into 2 finger widths, for added taste dip into some Soya sauce. Yamagobo can also be used in salads or as side salad for Curries.
